awesome science kid does it again!!!

Yet he does it again!!!And he's back with a NEW experiment!!! HOW TO MAKE A LAVA LAMP

PICTURE:

That's right! Be amazed! Now make it!!! #2:homemade lava lite. INGRIDIENTS:40 watt bulb, glass container, mineral oil, holder for bulb,70% isopropyl alcohol,90/1% alcohol. To make the lava lite, pour the 90/1% up to 3/4 of the container. Don't use the 70% alcohol instead. Then pour 1/4 of the mineral oil into the container. Finally, pour the 70% alcohol into the container until the mineral oil rises of the bottom surface of the container and shake it. Last but not least, place it on the 40 watt bulb in it's holder. Then you think,"Awww man! This science guy now has 3 points!" "I only have 0!" don't feel bad! At least now you have your own lava lamp.

Great job science kid,

I might direct my science kids to this website. How did you make the base for the light? I would like a simple way for my 6th grade science students to do this.

Thanks

I put an empty Smucker's peanutbutter jar around the bulb and I put the container on it.Does that answer your question, anonymous?
